An Exploratory Study on Low-Income Elderly Women¡¯s Residential Mobility Experiences: Focusing on Masan City

Abstract
This study examined the low-income elderly women¡¯s residential mobility experiences. The subjects were the eight low income female elderly people over 65 who had moved into Masan city from another area. As a result of the research turned out that the major experiences of their residential mobility were three categories such as the relational dimension, economic dimension, environmental dimension and seven important categories like week consciousness of supporting depending on child, living alone, social relationship, economic conflicts, low housing expenses, easy access to welfare service, and lack of convenience facilities. The findings of this study were thought to give not only supportive strategies, but academic information and social intervention policies for low income elderly women¡¯s mobility.
